The Last Waltz. THE concert film by Martin Scorsese. Since then, I’ve been a big fan of the band The Band;)
This Christmas song was released on their „last“ album in 1977. However, the farewell concerts were actually already played and filmed in 1976.
The Last Waltz was then released in 1978.
I saw the film 1978 for the first time in the Schwabach LUNA cinema. In 1978 I was 13 years old.
