The Lee Shore

A David Crosby Cover

When I went from the 6th to the 7th Class changed to a new school and it was already so progressive at the time and had a library with media room, and this media room was also equipped with a very good collection of LPs with music from the 1960s and early 1970s, I heard this song for the first time. Before that, of course, I had to listen to Suite: Judy Blue Eyes at least 50 times, which is not the worst on this record.

We are talking about the double album 4 Way Street by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. Since that time, these four, sometimes individually or in different constellations, have been constant musical companions for me.

In addition to The Lee Shore, Wooden Ships, in an epic version on said album, is also one of my all-time favourites.
